Dear Clear Creek Community,
As some of you may know, our 9th grade students in Ms. Matthew's Human Geography class participate in a program called World Affairs Challenge Virtual Exchange (WACVE) that connects them with international students. The program is part cultural exchange and part international collaborative problem solving.
We are looking for up to 5 community members to support our students this Fall in this transformative program in one of two ways:
1) Program Facilitator - As a facilitator you will be actively engaged in the WACVE program by leading a virtual classroom with 5 Clear Creek students and 5 international students. Please see the attached flyer for more information -- training is provided.
2) Site supervision - As a site supervisor you will support the success of 5 CCHS students by listening to their interaction with their international peers and ensuring they stay on task during the one hour weekly virtual exchange. There will be an additional facilitator who will be actively leading the interaction.
For both options, the time commitment is the following:
Every Wednesday morning at 10:44 - 11:50 for 8 weeks from 9/26/22 - 11/20/22.
